DvPayLite Deep Linking Now Supports Hacienda Transactions

DvPayLite Deep Linking Now Supports Hacienda Transactions

DvPayLite Deep Linking can now process Hacienda transactions through both Intent Mode and URI Mode integrations. This enhancement allows merchants and ISVs to initiate Hacienda-enabled transactions directly from their applications while maintaining compliance with the Puerto Rico Department of the Treasury (Hacienda).

Previously, Hacienda transactions were supported through POS (Standalone) and SPIn workflows. With this update, the same Hacienda transaction capabilities are now available through DvPayLite Deep Linking, providing a more streamlined payment experience for integrated applications.

Feature Compatibility

  • Minimum Required POS Build: 10177
  • Where it Works: DvPayLite Deep Linking (Intent Mode and URI Mode)
  • Supported Processors: All Processors

Key Enhancements

  • Support for Hacienda transactions through DvPayLite Deep Linking.
  • Compatible with both Intent Mode and URI Mode integrations.
  • Allows integrated applications to initiate Hacienda-enabled transactions directly.
  • Supports transactions associated with a configured Hacienda MID.
  • Reduces manual intervention by enabling transaction data to be passed directly from the invoking application.
  • Maintains compatibility with existing deep linking implementations.
  • Provides a consistent transaction experience across supported payment workflows.

How It Works

Applications integrated with DvPayLite Deep Linking can invoke Hacienda transactions by passing the required transaction information through existing deep linking requests.

The transaction is processed using the configured Hacienda settings and Hacienda MID associated with the merchant, allowing merchants in Puerto Rico to continue meeting applicable reporting and compliance requirements while leveraging existing integration workflows.

Hacienda Processing Logic

DvPayLite Deep Linking follows the same Hacienda and Reduced Tax processing behavior supported by SPIn (SOAP and REST API) integrations. Hacienda transaction handling, tax calculation, Reduced Tax behavior, and TPN-level configuration requirements remain consistent across both SPIn and DvPayLite Deep Linking workflows.
